The team that protects your belongings
At Virginia Protective Covers, every cover and tarpaulin is designed by people who know technical textiles in depth. Our team in Romania combines experience in Oxford polyesters with PU coating, UV testing, and wind-resistant fastening systems. We don't just sell covers – we offer verified solutions for garden furniture, cars, and grills.
Each team member brings specific expertise: from choosing the fabric density to the correct installation of the tie-down cords. And when it comes to maintenance, we have clear answers – for example, for cleaning the car tarpaulin after winter: 1) shake the tarpaulin well to remove dust and dry debris; 2) wash it with lukewarm water and a neutral soap, without bleach; 3) let it dry completely in the shade, then fold and store it in a dry place.
Textile materials specialistAnuța Ardeleanu
Anuța personally selects each piece of Oxford polyester, checking the density (600D, 900D) and the quality of the PU layer. She has tested over 200 fabric samples under simulated rain and hail conditions to guarantee that the cover will not tear after the first season.
Fastening systems engineerLucian Lupu
Lucian designs the adjustable cords and elastic buckles that secure the tarpaulin to the car or furniture. He developed a three-point anchoring system that reduces wind flapping by 40% compared to standard solutions. Each strap is tested for traction up to 50 kg.
Production coordinatorAnatolie Paduraru
Anatolie oversees the double thermo-welded seams and the application of the hydrophobic finish on each cover. He reduced production time by 15% without compromising waterproofness – a balance between speed and durability that we verify weekly through impermeability tests.
UV protection and maintenance consultantdr. Mugur Ardeleanu
A doctor in materials science, Mugur analyzes the resistance of covers to UV radiation and recommends optimal cleaning intervals. He developed our care guide: wash with lukewarm water, neutral soap, dry in the shade – simple steps that extend the life of the tarpaulin by up to 3 seasons.
